Job Summary Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Health Unit Coordinator in our Med/Surg Unit at Baptist South. This is a Full-Time Evenings opportunity Monday-Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The primary responsibilities of the Health Unit Coordinator will be:
Performing clerical and secretarial activities of the nursing units;
Answering call lights and telephones promptly;
Ordering inventory of unit supplies and equipment;
Maintaining patient chart folders;
Greeting and assisting all customers while adhering to service excellence principles;
Maintaining a neat and orderly nursing station;
Supporting Nurse Managers.
