Formed in 2010 and with an official debut staged in 2013, the seven-member band of songwriters and singers little knew that they will be the face of the Korean music industry one day, which is popularly known K-Pop. We are talking about BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys. In today’s times, all the seven members of the band have made millions of fans around the world, and have taken K-Pop to new heights with international recognition.
While the BTS members are not hardcore car enthusiasts as American rappers, they do own some swanky cars. Here’s a list of all the cars currently existing in the car collection of BTS
Kim Taehyung
Popularly known as ‘V’ among his fans, Kim Tae-Hyung is the leading vocalist of BTS and is a renowned songwriter and actor in the Korean film industry. Currently, he is an owner of a Genesis GV80 SUV, which was acquired by him recently. Kim got himself a black-coloured three-row version of the midsize luxury SUV.
The Genesis GV80 is sold with three different engine options – a 2.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol (304 PS of power and 422 Nm of torque) and 3.0-litre four-cylinder diesel (278 PS of power and 588 Nm of torque), both of which are available with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. However, it is not clear which version among the two was bought by V.

Jeon Jungkook
Jeon Jung-kook, lovably called Jungkook by his fans, is another vocalist from BTS, who is a proud owner of a matte-black coloured Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S, which is one of the most expensive and powerful cars available from the German brand. Based on the AMG GT sports car, the GT 63 S is a four-door sports coupe, which sits at the top of Mercedes-Benz’s lineup.
Powering the Mercedes-AMG GT 63S is a 4.0-litre Biturbo V8 petrol engine, which is currently a powerhouse of various Mercedes-AMG models. Mated to a 9G-Tronic automatic transmission, this engine in the GT 63 S produces 639 PS of maximum power output and 900 Nm of maximum torque output.

Park Ji-Mi
Popularly known as Jimin, Park Ji-Mi is a singer and songwriter from BTS, who made his debut in the Korean film industry with the band in 2013. Like V, Jimin picked up a car from his native country, by opting for a black-coloured Kia Carnival. The Carnival is a three-row luxury MPV from Kia, one of the most popular brands in South Korea.
The Kia Carnival owned by Jimin is the third-generation model, which made its debut in the South Korean market in 2014. There, the MPV was available with a 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard. The engine in the Kia Carnival produces 200 PS of maximum power and 440 Nm of maximum torque.

Kim Seok-jin
Kim Seok-jin is one of the most popular singers from the boy band BTS, who has co-written most of the songs for the band since his debut in the band in 2013. Popularly known as Jin, Kim Seok-jin currently owns a Lamborghini Aventador, which currently ranks as the most powerful supercar from the Italian supercar maker.
The Lamborghini Aventador owned by Jin is the latest version of the supercar, the SVJ LP770-4. This version of the Aventador is easily the most outrageous looking version of the supercar produced to date. The 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine of the Aventador SVJ produces 770 PS of maximum power and 720 Nm of maximum torque and is coupled to a 7-speed automatic gearbox.
Kim Nam-joon
Known as RM among his admirers, Kim Nam-joon is a Korean rapper and songwriter, who is associated with BTS since the beginning. RM is a proud owner of an Audi RS4, which is one of the most outrageous station wagons you can buy in the world at the moment.
The Audi RS 4 is a perfect example of how performance and practicality can co-exist in a performance-oriented car. This sporty station wagon is powered by a 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine, which is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and churns out 450 PS of maximum power output and 600 Nm of maximum torque output.
Min Yoon-gi
Another rapper and songwriter from Korean brand BTS, Min Yoon-gi, is popularly known for his short name Suga. After V and Jimin, Suga is the third member of BTS to have a Korean car as his daily driver, a white-coloured Hyundai Palisade. The Palisade is currently the flagship three-row SUV from Hyundai.
The biggest SUV from Hyundai’s global portfolio, the Palisade is available in the South Korean car market with a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. This engine pumps out 277 PS of maximum power and 335 Nm of maximum torque output. It should be noted that BTS is the official brand ambassador of Hyundai in South Korea.
Jung Ho-seok
Amicably called J-Hope by BTS fans around the world, Jung Ho-seuk proudly owns a white-coloured Porsche Carrera 911, which is widely regarded as one of the most iconic two-door sportscars in the world.
The Porsche Carrera 911 owned by J-Hope is essentially a 997 Turbo iteration of the sports car, which used to come with a 3.6-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six petrol engine. Available with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, the engine in this Carrera 911 produces 480 PS of maximum power and 620 Nm of maximum torque.
