  Definitely not for everyone. Our son came home with cuts and scratches all over his body from his feet, arm and stomach. Hewas sofilthy wehad towipe him down atthe facility and change his clothes. Inaddition wehad tothrow away his clothes heworn tothe school. The response from the school when Iquestioned them about the way our son was returned touswas:
  “Children are encouraged toexplore here. Some ofthe kiddos are more prone toexploration with their whole bodies, while others aremore particular— it's really unique tothe individual child. It's totally understandable that the approach may not bea fit for every family.”
  Wow… Having achild filthy and allowing them tohurt themselves isNot anapproach itis called neglect. This definitely was not the expectation myhusband and myself expected when weinitially toured the school.… – show

  Highland Academy isa newer preschool and our experience for our2.5yr old has been amazing. The teachers and staff care somuch about the children, and about making this anawesome and wholesome experience for them.

  Every day weget photos ofour son playing inthe huge beautiful outdoor area (his favorite isthe mud and water area:), doingart, creative snacks,etc. Wetoured alot ofgreat preschools innorth county, and this was head and shoulders above the others. The enthusiasm and ca

  re ofthe teachers, the great outdoor-centric play environment, and the thoughtful activities make itso welcoming andfun.

  This was the first time weleft our son outside ofhis grandparents, and hedidn’t want toleave when wepicked himup:)

  We are sohappy westumbled upon Homeroom Hourly Care 2years ago when wefirst moved here looking for childcare for afew hours. Wemet Miss Cassie and liked how the place isvery warm, safe and inviting for my4year old toenjoy all the different toys, pet animals, creative arts and crafts, some outdoor and indoor activities. Myson, the shyone, grew totrust Miss Cassie. She has away ofunderstanding the way akid might think oract togain trust. Whenever myson's school had toclose forteacher work days, extended holidays/weeks off (Christmas orSpring Break) and westill have towork, Homeroom stepped into supplement childcare forme. Inever worry about trying tofind random folks towatch mykid anymore; Homeroom was always available. Cassie isvery responsive totext whenever Ineed toask for childcare ona last minute notice. Myson feels safe and considers ithis second home away from home. Wewill truly miss Homeroom when werelocate back tothe east coast. Homeroom was agodsend when wemoved here.… – show

  Cassie isan angel! Honestly cannot say enough good things about her and Homeroom Hourly. She isloved byour daughter, always positive, has apeaceful, fun presence, and has helped our family SOMUCH when we’ve been ina bind. She isresponsive, encouraging, and just THE BEST! Weare incredibly thankful for her and Homeroom Hourly!

  This place isa life saver. Mydaughter is3and has separation anxiety with every school she’s ever attended. Home Room changed all that! Cassie does anamazing job making this place welcoming and entertaining. They don’t just play. They doactivities, eat snacks, make crafts and learn. Such awonderful daycare that’ll change your kid’s life.

  Homeroom ismy 3year old daughters favorite Daycare togoto. She absolutely loves coming here!Ms. Cassie isthe best and she really cares alot about the kids she's taking careof. She has always been very understanding and accommodating tofluctuating schedules and changes inplans. Very fast responses tophone calls and text messages sothat you can make quick plans when you needto. It's avery clean, safe, & comfortable place totake your kidsto.

  Needed last minute care for date night and this place was heaven sent! Mychildren keep asking when they are returning. Itwas abit ofa drive but soworthit! Cassie was awesome aswell!

  As anearly childhood educator for more than 40years, iwas soimpressed bythis warm and inviting place that ivisited about ayearago. irecently came across the website and thought iwould write areview.
  The children were happy and engaged and the staff friendly. Mygrandson loved the classroom pet and various activities. The indoor sandbox isbrilliant!

  This hourly daycare isthe BEST They offer apreschool program Monday- Friday. Are open 7days aweek + late hours! Ican drop off kywith short notice + use myhours upwhenever Iwant! Cassie Hall always has new impressive toys, new animals and most importantly Kyahna LOVES itthere!! Highly HIGHLY recommend this place. Tag someone who may belooking for childcare

  I've known the owner Cassie for 11years and brought myson here acouple times when itfirst opened. Myson loved itso much hecried when itwas time togo home and begged meto let him stay. Hekept talking about going back toCassie's “house” for months afterwards. Fast forward tothis year and now Iwork here full time. Myson still loves coming here with mewhen his elementary school isclosed, and has made friends with some ofthe regulars. Heloves the Legos, playing basketball, and playing video games (old school Super Mario ontheWii, orMinecraft onthe PS4). It's next toOrangetheory soI can leave him here when Igo work out (you get 10% off ifyou mention you were atOrangetheory). They offer free snacks all day and you can bring your own lunch/snacks too ifyou want, ororder aschool lunch ordinner for $5(usually pizza and veggies from Pizza Port, orchicken nuggets). They have nap mats ifa child wants tosleep/rest, but there isn't adedicated nap area ormandatory nap/quiet time. They sometimes turn down the lights and put onrelaxing music ora movie after lunch time though, but itdepends onthe crowd.

  They doa weekly lesson plan with aletter ofthe week and doa little circle time and activities inthe morning around9:30-11am. There are abunch ofpets here: 2bearded dragons, aball python, ascorpion, atarantula, atree frog, 2toads, and anadorable chinchilla named Larry. They make their own playdough and let the kids have fun and get messy (water and glitter inthe sandbox), sodefinitely don't send your kid infancy clothes unless you're okwith them possibly getting paint and flour and playdough all over. And sand intheir hair and various bodily crevices.

  Love this place. The team isamazing and myboys just love seeing Miss Cassie! Weenjoy the flexibility and the awesome atmosphere. The staff isincredible with their patience and understanding. You couldn't ask for abetter place when thinking ofChildcare.

  I could not rave about this place more. Cassie and her staff are extremely warm, kind and sincerely loving with all the kids. Ifeel socomforted knowing that mydaughter isin such great hands. Homeroom has been ahuge Blessing for this overprotective first-timemom.I highly recommend Homeroom!

  Less expensive than ababysitter, more flexible, and staffed byadult child development professionals, you can't ask for abetter hourly childcare option!

  The staff iswelcoming tochildren and their adults alike, the space isorganized with various play centers (catered tothe variety ofa*ges that attend the center), and you can usually bring the kiddos bywith only a15minute headsup.

  ely great helping her transition into adaycare setting (at first she would get upset about being away from us). Now our daughter absolutely loves going “to school” and itis because she knows that the people are nice and it's afun place tobe.

  I could goon (they are even helping out with the potty training!!), but suffice tosay that welove Homeroom. Wehave nothing but complete trust when wedrop our little girl off there, and weabsolutely treasure our worry-free child-free windows oftime. SERENITYNOW!

  Homeroom has been wonderful. Cassie and her staff are sogreat with my2.5year oldson, Jackson. Heabsolutely loves coming here and hedoesn't want toleave when Icome topick himup. Ifeel confident that heis ingreat hands. Itis such afriendly, warm environment. Heoften times isgiven asnack and itseems like heis involved indifferent activities/games each time heis there.
