Why did Jeong Gu-won lose his powers? ›

The encounter between Jung Gu Won and Do Do Hee results in unforeseen events, causing him to loose all his powers to her, intertwining their lives in unexpected ways.

The drama 'My Demon' concluded with a happy ending as all wishes were granted. Do Do-hee's desperate wish is fulfilled by Cha Chung-hwa, bringing back Jeong Gu-won to life. Noh Seok-min's character arc and the chemistry between Do Do-hee and Jeong Gu-won could be explored in a potential second season.

Finally, Noh Sok-Min emerges from the dark, revealing himself to be behind all of it. Not only does he attempt to kill Do-Hee, but he also murders his mother, Madam Ju.

So instead of the demon, she fulfilled it. Gu-Won anxiously wondered if that meant Do-Hee would go to hell. However, God expressed that the payment for the deal was already made when she previously lost a bet to him. This was back when Gu-Won managed to save Do-Hee from the fire and regain his powers.

The show ends with Mr Gu approaching Mi-jeong while she narrates about how she full of love. It is a classic kdrama ending suggesting they lived happily ever after.

Episode 16 of My Demon documented a tense finale with a rather interesting conclusion. The drama had a happy ending, with demon Jung Gu-Won returning to Do Do-Hee's life. Their lives came a full circle as they became each other's destroyers, but also each other's saviors.

Sadly, it's unlikely there will be a second season.

Episode 14 of My Demon concluded with Song Kang leaving Kim Yoo Jung before Christmas, leaving her in tears. However, it appears that Song Kang's character might not be the sole reason behind Kim Yoo Jung's character's parents' death. It seems the demon made a deal with her parents long ago to protect Do Do Hee's life.

The actors are really good and the story is very interesting and the chemistry between the two leads is very eye-catching. Some scenes are so wonderful and the story is also very intriguing. Overall a total package drama to watch.
