Remnant 2: How To Defeat Terminus Station Boss (2024)

N'erud is probably one of the most dangerous worlds in Remnant 2 to explore as a wide variety of enemies usually spawn on your way and haunt you down. However, exploring this realm is indeed rewarding, especially if you delve into its dungeons.

Terminus Station is one of the optional dungeons in Remnant 2, which means you don't have to complete it if you only want to complete the campaign, however, the dungeon features a pretty unique boss encounter that may want to try out.

Terminus Station is a dungeon located in the southeast of Timeless Horizon. Keep in mind that unlocking Timeless Horizon requires you to complete The Hatchery or The Putrid Domain dungeon in the Phantom Wastelands.

The boss fight in Terminus Station is actually a race against time. At a certain point in the dungeon, you hear a voice that encourages you to get on a train. You are tasked to kill all the enemies inside all the wagons of the train in a given time, or you will die.

As a result, it is quite important to kill your enemies as quickly as possible, which requires you to craft and use Weapon Mods that increase the damage dealt to enemies. Regarding the fact that most enemies you are going to face are robots, we strongly suggest you wear rings like Grounding Stone that reduce incoming Shockwave damage.

It is crucial to use long-range weapons in this fight as sometimes you can spot robots on the shelves, and while you can damage them from afar as your crosshair turns red when you aim at them, they won't reveal themselves as hostile robots until you get closer enough.

The Handler's companion is pretty useful in this fight as it can distract the shielded robots, which gives you the opportunity to shoot at them or deal melee damage to them. Shielded robots must be eliminated as soon as possible before they reach you to perform sword or shield damage.

Aside from robots, there is also a strange pink ghost in a few of the wagons. While on its own, this ghost will pop up its head from the ground and will try to knock you down by shooting some projectiles. So, you really need to be careful where you are standing, as the ghost disappears after a few seconds and then appears in another location, but usually it pop-ups its head somewhere around your feet. When the ghost appears, you need to keep your distance from it and deal as much damage as you can to its head.

If there is any other robot on the battlefield along with the ghost, the pink ghost will fly in the air and integrate itself into an alive robot, which improves its attacking abilities. Once you kill the robot, the ghost will fly out of it again, which is a perfect moment to get rid of it.

In the final wagon, after defeating a bunch of enemies, including shielded robots, a new robot will spawn, but it has a blue shield that needs to be taken down before you can damage it. This is the final boss, and while you are advised to take its shield down using a gun, we suggest you move forward and deal melee damage as soon as the shield is off. If you can't kill the boss in a certain period after disabling the shield, it will recharge again.

It really depends on how much time you have left, but usually having a little bit over 1 minute and 20 seconds is enough to kill the boss in two phases. That being said, you really need to be quick. The boss will also spawn some smaller flying robots that deal damage to you, and their number increase significantly during the battle. Generally, you won't have enough time to kill those flying robots, which means the best option is to dodge and use any healing relic or skill that you have equipped. Since the number of flying robots goes insane in the final seconds, we suggest you craft and use Enigma Handgun Secondary Weapon for this part, as it deals damage to all the enemies inside a certain radius of your aim.

You don't usually get out of Ammo at this stage of the battle, but using some mods like Hot Shot is great for improving the damage you deal to the enemies for a limited time.
